Cynthia M. Reese
Cynthia M. Reese joined Blackwell, Burke & Ramsey in 2015 as a shareholder and attorney. Ms. Reese graduated from Ball State University in 1993 and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis in 1997. Ms. Reese has more than 17 years of experience and represents businesses and lenders in finance, business transactions and commercial litigation. Ms. Reese has extensive experience in review and analysis of business agreements, real estate and lease agreements. Ms. Reese also regularly drafts mortgage loan documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, deeds, mortgages, releases, and easements. She interacts with corporate counsel and client senior management on legal strategy and budget for complex matters and to resolve litigation in a practical and cost effective manner. Ms. Reese’s experience spans the real estate, commercial and industrial industries.
Ms. Reese has significant litigation experience including trial, motion practice, discovery, and settlement negotiations. Additionally, her experience includes intellectual property, insurance, employment law, environmental compliance, restrictive covenant agreements, and trade secrets. Ms. Reese frequently litigates in both state and federal court, including bankruptcy court on behalf of her clients.
